Contemporary brown half calf, partly worn, gilt spine in five compartments, damaged in upper compartment which is loose. Some occasional faint foxing, light finger smudges in margins of a few leaves.

The work is best remembered for its beautiful plates depicting native Americans and sceneries of the Southwest.
