Contemporary full calf, partly worn and rubbed, covers slightly warped, lacking corner on lower cover, richly gilt spine in compartments and red label, speckled edges. Text partly dampstained from page 282 to the end, slight spotting.

This is the third Latin edition, and the sixth edition in total with much new material. First edition was published in 1707. There are also texts by Halley, Colson, Maclaurin and Campbell. Editor was Willem Jacbob Sturm van's Gravesande.
