4to (287x205 mm) With 68 woodcuts by Henri Laurens, of which 2 in colour, including the wrapper (24 full-page and 54 printed in grey, black and/or gold). Limited edition of 270 copies on vélin pur fil d'Arches signed in pencil by the artist (with the monogram HL), this is number IX.
Untrimmed in modern beige full morocco, covers with black and gilt decor, spine with title in black, slightly soiled, and slightly faded (signed Ole Olsen Co'libri, 1982). Paper case, partly worn.
Ole Olsen (1932-2009), artist, bookbinder, worked amongst others for the famous Swiss binder Hugo Pellers. He also worked as a teacher at Galleria del bel Libro og Scuola d'Arte per Legatori Artistici in Ascona in 1967-71. In 1972 he opened the book gallery Co' libri.
