Contemporary richly blindtooled pigskin, somewhat worn, on upper cover the initials in black "GRBM", spine in five compartments (bound by/at Hans Cantzler in Wittenberg). Some dampstaining mostly in upper margin or part. Minor foxing. Old signature on first endpaper "Sum ex libris Joachimi Mylij... Viteberg ...". Library stamps (Bibliothek des Kammergerichts [Berlin] and others) on title and last page. Catalogue cuts pasted on inside of upper cover. Library stamp of Roman Kaczmar on inside of lower cover.

The binding by Hans Cantzler shows his roll-stamp of Fide(s), Spes, Temp(erentia), and Cast(itia), with his initials on Temperentia. He had one of the largest binderies in Wittenberg and was active from 1546 to nearly the end of the century.
