Small 4to (208x133 mm.). 2 engraved frontispiece portraits, folding printed tables, 443 partly folding or double-page engraved maps and plates (1 plate with some paperloss in the margin, 1 plate creased, some mostly marginal foxing).
Contemporary brown half leather, partly somewhat worn, spines in six compartments and partly very lightly faded, about 15 volumes with small damages at head or foot. Plate-volume II pp. 43-46 loose, plate-volume III pp. 31-32 with mended small hole. Some minor foxing. A few marginal annotations in the text volumes. Some volumes with the signature Pierre de Heidenstam on titles or half-titles. 69 volumes.
